Dr. Ted Lapp is an experienced and proven hardware and software electronics design engineer with over 30 years experience with the last 12 years as Director of Engineering at Fire Sentry Corporation. Dr. Lapp´s broad and extensive experience covers an extensive range of design and developmental activities extending from theoretical analysis and algorithm software design to hardware circuit development and detailed microcode implementation. He has extensive experience in embedded microprocessor applications for industrial automation, monitoring, communication, and control systems. He has developed numerous products in areas relating to electro-optical fire detection, petrochemical analysis, intravenous infusion pumps, automated blood pressure calculation, and bio-environment control. Dr. Lapp has also worked extensively in the development of digital communication systems for both government and commercial applications, focusing on modulation and coding, channel utilization, multiple-access tradeoffs, and network resource management. Dr. Lapp received his Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Colorado, specializing in signal processing. His dissertation dealt with optimal computing architectures for digital filter implementation.

Mr. Carr is the Vice President of Manufacturing has over 20 years experience with the last 12 years as Director of Manufacturing at Fire Sentry Corporation. Mr. Carr´s background as an Industrial Engineer has been primarily in the fire detection industry. His focus has been in manufacturing management and engineering for commercial and military electro-optical fire detection electronics and hardware. He has done mechanical design work and applications engineering in the areas of fire detection/suppression, and extinguishing agent development for military, alternate fuel, and aircraft vehicles. Besides his management expertise, Mr. Carr is proficient in mechanical engineering design tasks using such design tools as AutoCAD. Mr. Carr has a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Industrial Engineering.
